This is an amazing author! I came across professor Troy when she was the featured guest on German public radio April 10th, 2002, and yes, I was impressed. If only we had more writers/teachers like her…

I am the editor of the New Zealand national bookbinding organisation and I publish an online newsletter every quarter.

I was alerted to an article in Sharp News written by Jeff Peachey:
https://sharpweb.org/sharpnews/2017/09/07/tricks-of-the-trade-bound-to-be-modern/
I would like permission to reprint your article in our next newsletter please?

I have already written to Jeff and he suggested I contact you as he didn't think he owned the copyright on this article.
Having read Jeff's cautionary article and realised that I recommended Jamie Kamph's Tricks of the Trade: Confessions of a Bookbinder book in an earlier edition of our newsletter, I would very much to balance up the advice.

Thank you very much for your consideration

Mr Saunders, good morning. I beg your pardon for my not excellent english, I am writing from Italy. I am the admin of the website www.pulpmagazines.org, active on the Internet from February 2018. I have endeavoured to add a great number of pulp magazines listed in alphabetical order and ready to be read; my goal is to insert and make available for reading all the "pulps" nowadays obtainable online; I am also restoring the covers and the back pages. The amount of the issues surpasses now that of the site Pulpmags, and is constantly growing. I was wondering if you could take a look at my website and possibly post a comment on Sharp News about it. In case, thanks in advance. Best regards.

I use this book in my courses and it is lucid and inspiring. My students love it. The chapters are top quality and the introduction offers a clear and helpful explanation of the development of Spanish fiction. It is hard to understand the objections the reviewer makes, particularly his questioning the received conception of aesthetics. A great book and a funny review.
