Digital Connections

In the 21st century our print networks are often enhanced by digital ones, allowing easier access to our global community. Whether or not you are a member, you can forge connections with scholars in all disciplines who are working on the histories of books in any place or period through social media and our listserv.

We look forward to welcoming you to our digital communities!

Connect through Social Media

SHARP’s social media presence is undergoing an update! Stay tuned for where to catch up with us and other members on SHARP-L.

Connect through SHARP-L

Available to anyone with an email address, SHARP-L is a listserv for those interested in book history. Subscribers use the listserv to exchange research ideas, information, queries, teaching aids, and conference and journal announcements. SHARP-L archives are publicly available going back to 1992.

In order to join, send a blank email to sharp-l-subscribe@indiana.edu. You’ll receive an email inviting you to confirm your subscription. List users can use this list of commands to change their preferences, including unsubscribing, changing to digests, etc.

Posts to SHARP-L are moderated by a team of SHARPists. You can find more information about how posts are moderated in the listserv’s editorial policy.
